This is an amazing spot. The selection of bourbon as well as a menu full of good food and coffee makes it a one stop shop for food and time with friends. Rachel was great and knew her stuff. If you are in the Poquoson area stop in and ask for the girl with the perfect curls and you won’t be disappointed. Great spot

Best Bourbon list I have found in Hampton Roads and At rescale prices. The food is incredible! Best macaroni & cheese I’ve ever had ad well. Service was also top-notch and very helpful.
ABSOLUTELY SUPERB! Ordered a chilli cheeseburger (even though it wasn’t on the menu and they still very kindly made it for me). One of the best chilli cheeseburgers I have had in a long while, with just the right level of spiciness in the house chilli. The chips were gorgeous too - warm, salty and peppery, all washed down with a hazy IPA. Excellent, friendly and attentive service, and great background music. All in all a very pleasant lunch.

There's a guy named, Local Guide, who gave 1631 1 star. That guy's a complete jerk. He gave Panera's 1 star and Chick-Fil-A 3 stars, but a pot dispensary 5 stars. 'nuff said. He's not a local guide; he's a local jacka. You always have those humans walking around ruining life for the rest of us. FTR, I am in no way associated with 1631. I'm a new regular patron who absolutely loves the establishment, ownership and team members. I'm leaving my review, separately. I just couldn't believe some toad would leave 1631 less than 4 stars. Ignore the 1-3 stars. Give 1631 a try. Atmosphere is so cool-- old school biker bar meets Millennial fresh vibe. Morning playlist 70s-80s Top 40. Morning is more mellow feel-- Billy Joel, America, Michael, Stevie, Hall & Oates. Afternoon is more 80s-90s Rock. I'm from KY so the bourbon vibe is very cool esp. the soft leather lounging area. I feel like I'm in a 1970s commercial with Ricardo Montablan and Farrah Faucett. And, that's a good thing! Food: The bacon jam cheeseburger just may be the best burger on the Peninsula! Their brisket is smoked in-house...get out! The brisket & cheese sandwich, I would take that into battle as my last meal. They even have breakfast burritos. Their coffee bar compares to your cooler coffee shops but half the price! Don't ask me how they do it, but I ain't complaining. The owners: Career retired Navy man. Smart couple. They mix in with the patrons. Very outgoing with a strong positive vibe. Wait/bar staff: Polite, courteous, fast, energetic, friendly. Look, this place has it all. Get over there, now!
Fantastic restaurant with incredible burgers. The wait staff are super friendly and made sure our party was fully taken care of. No wait for a table, and we did not wait long at all for our appetizer and entrees. I can tell there is a loyal customer patronage there just based on the quality of food and service provided, as well as a hospitable atmosphere. I didn't get a chance to partake in any alcohol, but I could immediately see they have a rather impressive collection of whiskeys and other drinks available. Highly recommend this incredible place, and I look forward to returning again soon!
My wife, daughter, and I drove to Poquoson for a meal this evening. 1631 did not disappoint. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was spot-on, and the food was both visually appealing and appetizing. Warning - do not frequent this establishment if you are looking to spend 3 for a hamburger - go to a fast food place instead. The food at 1631 is made using quality ingredients, not junk.
